Hi all, new on here. I'm looking at an old sail boat with a view to buying her. I've not seen the engine yet but have been told it's an Albin 021 needing an exhaust system "at least." From experience (Not Albin) old marine engines tend to be built like brick outhouses and I was wondering what issues these engines tend to present and what to look for when i go to view her. i will post up pictures etc when I've been over to see her along with any numbers etc. Cheers all.  |

Mick,
Only problem I have found on my 2 Albin 021,s is when you remove the manifold check for rust inside the block, both motors I own have had bad rust problems on the bottom of the exhaust chamber.
