I have a Volvo Penta F1 single cyclinder 3.5hp, 2 stroke, marine gasoline engine circa 1940. I am hoping to fire this up at some stage. It has a crankcase sump plug but I cant seem to locate where to put engine oil in. Does it need engine oil? Also there is a gearbox/clutch thing attached to the engine with a handle arrangement. Does this gearbox need oil also? There are plenty of grease nipples. Do i have to premix the fuel with it being a 2 stroke? Cheers.
