Hello I have a 1 cyl. sandow engine it is missing the water pump that has a three bolt pattern on the side. It is also missing the eccentric on the outside of the crank that drives the bronze connecting rod that goes to the plunger on the missing pump. Funny thing is when I got the engine years ago it had the bronze connecting rod for the pump and none of the water pump except the bottom flange for the water pump it has the same bolt pattern as the bottom connecting point on the side of the engine and so it was bolted to it. I need a picture or a cutaway or some information on specifications to make these parts or if anyone has one laying around to purchase. I also need wiring info on how to hook up the coil and battery to the lever control any and all info wil be greatly appreciated. This type of restoration is new to me but I have been restoring antique tractors and farm machinery for many years and have the equipment to make the part but need info on how the plunger water pump works. thanks to everyone in advance Ed |

I have the castings to make the water pump for the Detroit and I am not sure they are the same for the Detroit Sandow. Got a photo or drawing? |
