I need some of the "fat" style rings for my Stanley/Emmons single. The ring is 11/32" high and .185" thick. The bore is 4" and I need them at least 5 thou oversize. I spent what free time I had this week hitting the auto part and machine shops but if you can't tell them its a Chevy or a Volvo they loose interest. Someone MUST have found a source for the old big size rings?? Thanks Tom |

I had exceptional luck with Paul Weaver in Bremerton Wa. Fast, reasonable. Email me off-list for his numbers |

If you are looking for odd rings try Niagara Piston Ring Works. 814-664-9233. I needed odd size rings for a Gray Stationary engine that were almost a half inch wide. Niagara makes rings from 3/4" to 144" in diameter and any width. They are also the manuafactuer not just someone who carries rings made by someone else. Had mine in about 10 days. |
