Anyone have an operating Stanley with M&B as my Emmons (pics attached) please let me know what the trick to setting the igniter is please. Tom |

Rebuilding this igniter without having some of the most important parts was a trip. It looks like my "guess" about the springs above the arm were wrong. Screwing the jam nuts down to within a few thou of the arm seems to have fixed the intermittent opening of the points. Got a nice snappy, solid spark now. Had it running just enough to know it should be ok. Show this Sat. that I'm hoping to take it to. Picture to follow. |

Thanks Larry, That's the mixer from the engine we traded for (turns out to be a "Toquet") I just today had the Emmons running for over an hour. Had to be sure all was ok for the show next month. Now I need to concentrate on finishing the Dunn twin |
