Here, for your viewing pleasure, is a very nice, extremely expensive, Regal engine

Yes its a nice looking motor but not great, I like all the crude brass, but Its my belief That some ones pie in the sky price will not be met. There is also that other motor on at the $9000 level that is far more attractive to me. Now its up to all you guys with deep pockets to prove me wrong. If I saw this at a swap meet for $2000 I would look but most likely not buy. any opinions
???????????

So much for a hobby that anyone can have fun in. I am sure glad I started my collection long enough ago to have some nice stuff that cost less than my car. In fact my first engine cost 5.00 and it ran! As recent as a year ago I bought a decent Regal for 100.00
ebay is the worst thing to happen to this hobby!

Ever watched trout being fed at a hatchery with all the fighting and splashing that goes on as they try to get to the food at any cost? eBay is like a hatchery that feeds greed as it plays to the most basic one of the big 3 needs - food, shelter/security, reproduction.

Using that model i wonder where rubbing and polishing my ancient spark plugs and lovely carburettor fits. It's a worry. :-)
