I am in the process of restoring this engine to show locally. I would appreciate any help in identifying it. The carburetor has a brass tag riveted to it with Carter and a 1908 date. This is a 4 cycle single cylinder. Thanks, Bob |

Here is a second picture of the engine. It has a brass connecting rod that has an interesting repair (riveted steel brace). Both mains are brass. The cam lobe is quite high and narrow with a roller tappet. |

Here's a couple of pictures of the engine after restoration. I would appreciate any information on the manufacturer's name as we are going to show it at engine shows this year and like to post a facts sheet with the display. Thanks, Bob |
