The "Pilot" engine has been donated by the Oxford (MD) Museum to Tuckahoe Steam & Gas Association (http://www.tuckahoesteam.org), where it will be displayed in our Gas Engine Building. Additional pictures at http://picasaweb.google.com/JEGreenblatt/PilotMarineEngine?feat=directlink The Oxford folks believe this is the only Pilot engine known. The engine is free and appears to be in good condition. We plan to restore and run it. Any info on this engine would be appreciated.

That's a wonderful engine. Great that it will be running at your club and show. Please keep us posted on the progress. I know you were part of the earlier thread about that engine, but in case anyone else missed it see the link below: http://www.oldmarineengine.com/discus/messages/2/100548.html |
