Please Help! Please Help!
I asking for help from all you engine collectors that have engines manufactured or tagged by the following companies: Detroit Engine Works, Detroit Motor Car Supply Company (Sandow), Columbia Engine Company, Michigan Steel Boat Company, Caille Perfection Motor Company, Termaat & Monahan Company. The reason I'm asking for your help is so that I might be able to figure out the serial number system on these engines. Also would like to learn about the engine castings, numbers and letters on these engines. Here is the information I would like to collect if possible.
Engine Manufacture.
Horse Power.
Stationary or marine.
Any raised cast letters & numbers and there location on the engine.
Any stamped letters & numbers and there location on the engine.
