These are a couple pic of my Johnson Motor inboard marine engine. Thanks to John for letting me know about this site. It has 2 oilers, one at the piston and the other at the crankshaft.

Thanks for posting the photos Bobby. Nice looking old marine engine. I do not believe to many collectors have one of these in their collection. I guess that drip oiler on the crankcase is to lubricate the lower con-rod some how. Not sure if it was put there by the factory or some one has added it. Probably would have to take a peak inside the crankcase to figure that one out. Look forward to seeing you and the engine at one of the upcoming shows.

* Bobby Thanks for posting the engine photos, So far I would have to say that your new find is a one of a kind, just like its ad (Johnny thanks for posting here to see with eng photos). There may be other engines out there but in the unknown category not having a photo or engine to identify with ! If you take additional photos of the back, front and starboard side PLEASE post them ! the carburetor located on the aft of engine is rather unique detail ! * |
