Wow, again. Twin cam-shafts. The valve chambers bolt on the Sides of the cylinders, making for much simpler castings! One can take their valve modules ashore for valve grinding!

Heavy Duty...
Howabout simply BIG
Here are pics of an NOS cylinder and valve chests from a Palmer F series that I am going to make a floor lamp out of. The cylinder is knee high and the flywheel in the pic with the valve chests is from a 1 1/2 hp hit and miss Fairbanks Morse.

To my knowledge just 4 NOS cylinders and valve chests

What are all those ports? I imagine the top & bott are water-cooling, then the 2nd one down is the inlet/ or exhaust. So what is the biggest port for?
I imagine this equipment is the same either side of the cylinder? Do you have any other photo angles on these parts Ernie? Thanks- Interesting!

For the aussie engine buffs I am restoring a blaxland twin in a 5 metre boat .I am looking for a brass fuel tap and also rope to insulate the exhaust pipe can anyone help in the supply.
