* Hi Richard maybe you can be of help ,i think its a Bicknell MFG.and Supply Co of Janesville Wis,they specialized in light plants and we bought this in the same town, intake and exhaust combined ,20 inch extra weighted flywheel on 11inch flywheels, thx Gary O. could you put it on the old marine engine site for me, i agree that it is a marine conversion , might not have been sold thru Bicknell , but the engine is similiar to a Gray marine eng in the bottom end but the carb and exhaust on the same side combined , a 3 port engine also, the exhaust has a water jacket , but the intake and exhaust casting is one piece,it could have had a water pump for marine use but the port was tapped for a pipe, the cranckase splits like a Gray and cyl mounts to the top case and is headless. maybe someone will have some ideas ** |
