There is an excellent article by Tom Stranko in the Sept. edition of the Gas Engine Magazine. It shows the monumental work it takes to make in this case a cored water cooled exhaust manifold. Thanks to Keith Billet and his CAD drawing capabilies and Dick Alcock a retired master pattern maker Tom has manage to replace the missing exhaut manifold with an oustanding reproduction. This is what this hobby is, one helping another in a very difficult hobby when it comes to finding replacements for long missing parts. Nice job Tom and thanks for writing it up.

Thanks Richard,
ALL the credit must go to Dick Alcock for what I can only identify as fanatical tenacity and determination to see an incredibly complex project through to completion.
Until someone looks at all the photos and understands what he made and how he negotiated with the foundry etc. you do not have an appreciation. My hat is off to such a skilled craftsman.
Tom
