Does anybody know anything about an Albin engine .It is a two cylinder ,four cycle and fitted with a reversing box . Thought to be UK origin but maybe not . Any info welcome .

albin marine in sweden produced a 2 cyl diesle model AD-2 which was a 22 hp engine of their design. I have a 1972 in their 25' center cockpit cruiser. It is my understanding that the license (patent) was sold to volvo marine and is the original MD20 but this may just be hearsay
