Notice how they imply they invented sleeved cylinders, or at least are patenting it. |

I don't think he is talking about sleeved cylinders in the ad. I think what he may be talking about is a sleeve that acts as a moving valve to open and close ports on the walls of the cylinders. Willys - Knight did this in the 1930s, but wear became to great an issue and so they backed away from the design. I saw one of those engines.

I don't think this is a sleeve valve engine, it looks to be two cycle with the exhaust in the middle of the cylinder. I think the bottom of the cylinder is closed using it to charge the top. |
