I'v been collecting antique outboards for a while and just added my first inboard.I finally found it on this site in the '07 Calvert pics. It's the fourth one down from the top(blue crankcase and cyl with black flywheel). Can anyone ID this for me? Mine has "WM CO" stamped on the bottom of the crankcase and the intake and exhaust are 3/4" NPT.It has no carb or ignition and am at a loss as to what it would use.Thanx

That's Bob Legnon's motor, he has it ID'd as a Watkins. The WM CO would fit as Watkins Motor Co.

Nice five-spoke flywheel you don't see very often.

Thanx for the ID.In these pix I can say the In/Ex is a little different but the same engine manufacturer without a doubt.Any suggestions on carb.Would a 3/4" Schebler "D" work.I don't recognize the one in the pix. Also not included in earlier post is the bore/stroke.Bore appears to be a little over 3" with a 3" stroke.1.5 to 2 HP I would guess?

It looks like a three port so a carb would work fine. Bob has a mixer on it, probably a Lunkenheimer.
