I am a 5th year Mechanical Engineering student at Strathclyde University and for my undergraduate project this year, myself and two other students are to document the history of the design and manufacture of an unusual 1930's flat twin cylinder marine petrol engine manufactured by British Motor Boat Mfg. Co. Ltd., and to restore the example to fully working order. I wonder if any enthusiast such as yourselves might happen to be able to suggest any means of uncovering information on the company and perhaps the engine in question, or if anyone has anything that could be helpful, as useful documentation is currently proving to be few and far between. Thank You |
