Goodday I now have the Essex restored for your pleasure--modified a crankshaft from an Acadia salt water junker & also used the con rod (same lenght & stroke)--here are some photos Email me if you want more detail [email protected]name plateside viewother sidewith flywheel removed

Larry - Really nice restoration and I'm sure its worth all your time and effort.

Goodday again Many thanks for the kind comments---as it stands it's only a static display--it will need more work to become a runner (But not that much)I hoping to see anything in Canadian info--ads or sales literature

Goodday Tom The crankpin was in bad shape --I figured it would be easier to take an Acadia Shaft ( I had a salt water junker) & add about 4" to it & as it was a larger diameter we cleaned out the bore of the brass bearings & turned it to fit--This meant also oversizing the flywheel bore ,so now it's just like a new engine on the bottom end.
