Any info on fox 2cycle 2 cylinder engine would be greatly appreciated.I need to know what it uses for carburation. Thanks |

Greg, I assume you are talking about the Fox Reversible Gasoline Engine Co. of Newport, Kentucky. If so, here is a photo of a photogravure of a two cylinder, 2 cycle Fox, from a letterhead dated September 9, 1909. The carburetor is clearly a Schebler D or one of the Schebler D knockoffs. The air intake adjustment screw seems to be missing but the engraver may have done that deliberately for purposes of overall clarity. You got lucky on this one. Most of the engine illustrations I need for identifying the carburetor invariably depict the other side of the engine.

I am attaching a picture of my Fox. I don't know if the carb is correct for the year, but I believe its a Holly.
