Stuart Turner...air cooled

Author Message   peterogborne Senior Member Username: peterogborne Post Number: 198 Registered: 09-2002 Posted on Sunday, April 01, 2007 - 07:16 pm:        A friend has just obtained a unuasual ST .It is a twin cylinder opposed 4cycle engine .It is air cooled and the name plate says it is a 1HP s/n7272 and was built on the 30/4/28. Does anyone have any ideas of its purpose. I thought it may be one of those small gen sets that were used during the wars.I would appreciate any ideas.
