I'm looking for an engine or any information on the Pierce Boat and Engine Company of Racine, Wisconsin 1895-1910. I have one of their 16' launches I would like to restore. |

I have an early 2 stroke engine I bought in Michigan that I was told was a Pierce. I had assumed it was a Michigan made engine. name tag was gone, but the person I bought it from claimed there were two alike motors, and one had a name tag that said Pierce on it. That one sold for a lot more. I will post photos as soon as I recover my good computer's hard drive from it's current death throes. Any one with a catalog or other photo? |
