The LAKE CHAMPLAIN MARITIME MUSEUM in Vergennes, Vermont has a wonderful collection of "factory" photographs of Cooley engines. May of the photos are "display" type photos take for advertising or promotion purposes, and some are of the shop and foundry. Has anyone seen a Cooley engine? |

Richard and Ernie, Thanks... Waterbury, Vermont is about one hour from where I live. For many years they hosted the very large state mental hospital. The common reply around here if you tell someone you are "going to Waterbury..." is "are they going to keep you...?" |
