Hi all,
My trusty Volvo is now acting up. I've done the rebuild kit on the Solex dual carbs. But can't seem to get it to run smoothly untill @3000 revs. I've got to pump the throttle to keep er going. If I disconnect the fuel line, no difference. It'll run similar till fuel in carbs is used. I didn't "sync" the carbs when I did the rebuild, but don't know that that would cause this problem. I'm wondering if these carbs just "wear" out, jet's, linkage bushing, etc..? Timing is pretty much on target. Any suggestions?

I have a glasstron (1977)with a volvo aq130c moter. I rebuilt the carbs and adjested them to specks the moter starts and runs good at the dock but after running it will die at low speed and not want to restart. it acts as it is flooded! if you let it sit it will restart and sound fine. any idias? bill |
