Reseaching the St Lawrence River Motor and Machine Co. I have a 1923 Model T ford engine with this companys conversion on it. The Tag States that it is Engine Number 1926 Type C. The company was located in Clayton, 100 Island, N.Y. Any information about the company, and or the conversions, will be appreciated. |

ford_t some notes. Have ads from 1922 to 1926 all seem to be about 4 cylinder Ford Model T blocks converted to marine use. The Boat Museum in Clayton N.Y. has a good reference dept and may have info on a home town Co.! Would Appreciate a post of what you find out about this rather obscure Engine Co. to add to my notes. |

Picked up a Cady of Canastota Ford conversion. It has a Cady builders tag fixed over the "Cady Of Canastota" script cast in the exhaust manifold and a St Lawrence Engine Co. builders tag riveted to the top of the head.Maybe Cady was building them for St Lawrence Engine Co.?? |
