Hello all,
I have been searching the web for any information I can find on a Stuart twin compound that I have, and would like to restore, although it has no measurable wear only the reversing gear has been tampered with at some time in the past. The reversing is only on the hp cylinder valve gear and is at present blocked in to make it a fixed valve motion. The engine stands just over 14 inches tall and has a stroke of roughly 1.5 inches and bores estimated at 1.5 inches and 2.25 inches. I would like to put it back to its original set-up, can any provide any drawings/images/info to help me complete it.

Unfortunately the website will not allow me to publish the images which may help, as they must be too large, sorry.

Many thanks
Ken.

Ken,

You can reduce your pictures in any photo editing program to under 40Kb and post as many as you like.

Kendel.........I have an old Stuart Turner catalogue, not the full range but there are a couple of twin compound engines illustrated...a number 3 and a number 6.See if yours has a number .
