I received a bulletin from George Boley saying that the NA Three Cylinder Club has been "decommissioned".
For anyone that is not familiar with the club, over the last five years George has organized gatherings in the NE USA for those with slow speed gas and steam powered vessels (maximum 3 cylinders). They have met in some wonderful venues in Maine, Vermont, New York, and New Hampshire.
George has done a excellent job, but unfortunetaly the attendance isn't what he had hoped and as he says "... it's time to fold up our sails and head for the dry dock."
I did not attend any of the events, but I know that some of the regulars on this site did... and the reports were always good.
Thank you for your efforts George, and good luck with your next project, whatever it may be! |
