I have seen this a couple times but in febuary at the mount vernon show i told the owner i would post it here to see if anyone could solve the mystery,it came from lake chelan, washington area It is 4 cycle with an internal flywheel. thanks bob....

Bob: If you look in Engines Afloat, volume1, page 24, you will see a picture of the Murray&Tregurtha that I own. Stan Grayson's Third edition also has info on page 43. My engine is 2 cycle and is make and break. The engine you have shown has a lot of similiar features, but I would think is of later vintage. I need to take some pictures to send you. Might take a little time for me to do, but will send them. |
