I have finally reoved my 1957 stuart and find the barrel and piston are shot and hands start missing also back plate from pump off gear box shot can any one help please |

Try the Thames Vintage Boat Club - they had some engines advertised on their website, though a while back.
Its always the same - barrel/cylinder, exhaust outlet and side expansion chamber cover plate. Though the cylinder can be welded up and new sleeve(s) inserted. Also, if you are handy you can also make up a hand start mechanism. The sprocket can be bought/made to order. You have the lower sprocket to give you the pitch.
Try some of the old boat sheds and other boat clubs. |
