My Dad just called to to search a poem he saw in the rudder magazine about 40 years ago. He can not remember the title or the author. The first line is:
"Perhaps some of you chaps never sailed in small boats"
Is anyone familiar with this poem?

Im a retired shipwright in the Uk & am trying to find out about a publication of small craft plans that were published in the late `50's or early 60's. The catalogue contained all manner of craft from pram temders to runabouts & a futeristic catamaran with a tripod mast & cub footed mainsail which I think was on the front cover.

Does any one recall the publication & if so advise if it has been re-published.

Mail me on [email protected]

You might need to supply more info.

There was a group called the experimental watercraft society or something similar that had a monthly or quartery publication that included designs and reports on lots of futuristic catamarans, hydrofoils, etc but not prams and tenders.

Try to give us more clues
