Yup they are a neat engine. I had a twin that is now owned by Andrew. They were an engine way ahead of their time. Rotary intake valve and each cylinder had 2 intake ports and 2 exhaust ports. That made it necessary for these engines to have 2 exhaust manifolds. Instead of an offset cylinder like Ferro they had an offset connecting rod for the same reasons. "less rod angle at the point of ignition" |
