I don't make a habit of providing material from ebay... but this engine seems unique and I thought it would be useful to post the pictures here so that they remain after the engine is sold (or not sold)...

This engine has a lot of history. It was first given to Lake Tahoe's George Whittel for his services after WWI by the Italian Government. It was later given to Bill Harrah by George Whittel for his museum collection. This very rare and historical marine engine is the perfect compliment to a restoration or museum display. It is now offered for sale by the Ponderosa Ranch where it has been on display for many years. The engine is mounted on casters and is FOB Incline Village, NV 89451. The engine measures approx. 12 feet long, 3 feet wide and 5 feet high and is extremely heavy.

I saw this one on ebay, I bid it over $5000 and was not in the ballpark. It latter went to $10200 without hitting reserve. I wish I could run with the big dogs, It looks great! |

I am very interested in this 1918 Isotta Fraschini engine L350 .I tried to contact the old Ponde}}}rosa ranch but its no longer in business any suggestions as to how to contact the owners and see if this engine is available for sale?
any help will be appritated.
