I recently acquired one of these. It's apparently quite rare. It is a marinized version of a Volvo B36B V-8 it's coupled to a AQ200 drive. I made a very short video of it. I just got it running.. If anyone's interested, the clip is here: http://www.igs.net/~fms/volvo%20start%20004_NEW.mpg |

Hi! Ive also got one of those engines.. The B36B. Do You know were the vaccum hose from coilcap, (don't know what it's called in english... I'm Swedish... Ignition cables are attached to this thing. On the other end are the spark plugs, anyway) is supposed to connect for vaccum? Also how many litres of oil requires when changing oil and filter? Would be very happy for an answer! By the way; liked the sound of your "stove" regards: Thomas Nordstrm in Sweden |

Wow, another one is still alive- that is great! my vacuum advance port from the distributor is just ground off. As crude as it looks, i believe that is original. As with most marine engines, advance would be strictly mechanical. |
