For my senior design project, my team and I are fulling restoring a Lockwood Ash marine engine. The plaque on the engine is missing so we're not sure of the model or the Type. The horsepower is 2 1/2. If there's anyone who can help identify the model of the engine, then that would be very helpful. I'm probably gonna upload our progress onto this site since this is very cool. |

Reynaldo,
Looks like you have a model 24. You will need a 3/4 inch Schrebler carburetor, a couple grease cups, water drain valve, timer gear cover, a tag, and maybe some timer parts. All of which should be available. Welcome to the hobby!

Jim if you have any additional information or documents about the model 24, 2 1/2 hp LA engine then that would be a big help to me and my team.
Also does anyone have any plans to a model 24, 2 1/2 hp LA engine? My team and I are really needing something like that to help with manufacturing our own parts or to narrow down which parts are missing with our engine. We're also needing a manual of any kind so we know what kind of fuel it takes. |
