Sabb Typ "G"

Hello everyone,
When I tried to start this single-cylinder engine, there was a hissing noise and then the compression was gone. There is almost no resistance when the engine shaft turns.
When I opened the cylinder head, there was water in the piston chamber. There is at least 15cm of cooling water from the internal circuit in the crankcase.
The head gasket is OK.
Is it possible that something in the cylinder head has broken and a connection has formed between the pre-chamber and the cooling water?
Thanks for your answers!
Best regards
Holger

It sounds like there is a crack in the water jacket and / or cylinder wall .
If the engine has been run in salt water and has been left to dry out then it's likely that there is a crack somewhere.
This can be repaired but it is complicated

Thanks miro!

I'll try to find out where the crack is..
If I find something, I'll send pictures.
