Elsewhere you will see I am delving into restoring a 3 hp St. Lawrence. I have several ideas as to what I would like to do with it once complete and running. Among those is to build a boat. Something like a Louisiana bateau really appeals, but I'd need a plan. On that I'm having difficulty. If this was your engine, and if you were to build a wooden boat for it, what would you build? Cheers! |

Thanks Dick. I will contact them to see what they have to offer suitable for the 3 hp St. Lawrence. Cheers! |

Chris, Suggest you check Atkins designs. http://www.atkinboatplans.com/ http://www.atkinboatplans.com/Utilities/index.html Plans available at modest price. A flat bottom might be a good starter if this is your first build, ok for protected waters like the Rideau. Bagaduce 13'6, XLNC 19'2 Barry |

Thanks Barry. I gave the links a look. Several Atkins designs have caught my eye. This would not be my first build. I have the tooling and the shop space. Cheers! |
