I just acquired a barn find motor sn:45769. Two cylinder and in maybe runnable condition. It is missing one ignitor assembly, anything out there for a parts source?
I am new to the site, Thanks.

There are quite few Acadia engines in working conditions. You might have to be a bit patient , but you will be able to get help for sure.

Ignitor bits and pieces are not too hard to make up if you cannot find old parts.

I expect that ignitor parts from stationary version of those engine will likely fit OK

upon further knowledge of what I am looking at, I see the timing mechanism is also missing. Hoping to find these pieces in the garage it was stored in. Are the ignitors unique to the engine manufacturer or were they outsourced?

Robert,
Do you need the front or the back ignitor? They are mirror image of each other.

I am new to this discussion board.
Question about mounting a 1930 Palmer YT-1 in a Chesapeake Bay Crab Skiff. Can anyone tell me what Palmer recommends for the maximum mounting angle of the engine? The mounting is currently 15 degrees. Is this too acute? The answer is most likely in Dick Days YT-1 Manual, I had a copy and cannot locate the manual.

Thank you for any information you can supply.
