Hello all - many of you who have been to Mystic have by now received a notice about this year's show on 21/22 August. The info included a little addendum that says that for the first time "exhibitors and their guests" will be able to see their engine collection. Some of you, those with influence and or money :o), have already done that, but they have reorganized it according to the notice. That is a very tempting thing and I would love to see it. Anyone going that would like a "guest" to hold their beer for them? |

Bob, Just sign up and bring what you can. Is the Subaru broken? By the way I saw the collection last year. Not much to see in the dark. They didn't have lights in there and none of us thought to bring a flashlight. I am looking forward to viewing it this year and getting some usable pics. |

No Ernie the Taurus is not broken but going to Mystic is more of a hassle than going to Calvert since finding a place to stay is very difficult at that time of the year in CT. Cheers |

I am hopig to get a lot of good pictures this year. Scott really went out of his way last year to get us in but it was on such short notice we had no time to grab flashlights as Ernie said. Also we never did get into the area with all the big Palmers I saw back 10 years ago when George King took us over. They were in a different area and Scott had no key unfortunately so this year should be very interesting. Looking forward to seeing you all there. |

If any of you are looking for hotels in the Mystic area for the Mystic show set your search for at least 25 miles. There are a lot of hotels that are not in Mystic. You can go to Norwich, CT and even over into Rhode Island. Once you get away from the shore and casinos the rates should acdeptable. |
