1. What are the original colors of the St. Lawrence engines? 2. Where can I find a replacement compression valve on the side of the cylinder? |

This is a general question. The earliest shop built 2 cycle launch and skiff engines were all satin black. The second generation was actually a marinzed model T Ford engine and was also satin black although there were some pearl gray ones. Later in the 1930's ST L. also marinized the V8 Ford Flathead. This was usually painted fire engine red. Most parts for the marinized Fords can be found with the antique car club gang. |
