This is a brand new boat built from Mystic Seaport plans of a Palmer Launch. She is 16 by 5. She is strip built with epoxy and cloth both inside and out. The owner and I are still working out a few things like a proper fuel tank up in the bow. Power is a 3 HP Ferro Special with a custom made clutch. We were out in her today and and and well ummm OK it sure was fun Enjoy Ernie

That sure looks like a quality representation of an original boat. Thumbs up to the builder. Im sure youre going to get the bugs worked out. |

I saw it at Mystic - Jon has a really nice boat and like you he'll miss it when winter hits, I'm sure. Sure nice to see it in the water too. And it looks like you managed to get a better prop for the boat than the one it had when it was at Mystic. Miro |

The prop is the same. We need to redesign the heel fitting so we can put on a bigger prop. The one that is on it is 10 x 10 and is way too small. We discussed more pitch however small high pitch props are hard to come by. Finding an 11 by 11 or 12 by 12 prop is pretty easy. |

Ernie, Most props can be repitched plus or minus two inches. With that said, I agree a bigger prop would be much better. Jim |
