Hello, I am trying to find out what engine I have, and I would like to get it running. I have some hit and miss engines but this one has me in a loop. The only electrical contact point I can see is on the timer with a grub nut (and one on the spark plug)....only problem there is the timer spins in unison with the engine..... Any help with wiring and pre running lubing, checks etc would be much appreciated |

Nice looking engine. Perhaps an image or two of the timer would help... Here is a very good article for set-up and running by an expert - Dick Day: https://www.gasenginemagazine.com/gas-engines/antique-marine-engine-tips |

Thanks Gents. We are now clean of carb and tank, drained crankcase, greased and oiled. The timer is still a mystery, i will post a specific thread for the next virgin |
