or maybe I should say the remains of. Has 012S423 stamped into flats on both cylinders, does that make it 1901 or 1912 or ??. A few photos of the major bits. Came a Schebler D 3/4" and 1". One cylinder badly split, the other not at all for some reason. Funny "Britannia" reverse gear(?)included as well, probably off something else. At $25.00 it was worth it for the parts alone.

Robert, I'm in need of a 3/4" schebler carb if you are willing to part with it. Let me know by e-mail what you might want for it if you want to part with it. Thanks, Audie [email protected] |

Should be 1912, the flat casting extension on rear crankcase makes this a model "S". The timer shaft does not have the water/pump on it, so this was probably the SandSucker with the optional rear mounted plunger type w/pump.The 9 Hp had a 4inch bore, the 12 Hp 4 3/4. |

Thank you Richard, do you have any catalogue illustrations of this engine? If you can spare the time to post a few I'd be most grateful. I want to go back with a "shopping list" for the parts I didn't get the first time, as more may be there still and being able to show a picture makes all the difference. Thanks again. |

Interesting engine! I have never seen a 2 cyl. Gray that has a balanced crank. But then I haven't been into a Gray that old. Do you suppose that it was factory balanced? |

If I could order from your parts list I would take a dozen of each of the three sizes of the counter weights! I know how much trouble it is to machine a pair of them out of stock. I have only balanced 2 singles and they both turned out OK. They are both being used in boats. |
