Gray outboard motor

They where a 3HP , and used a flexable shaft to drive the prop . The Blakely Engine Co. produced a flex shaft also and was suppose to hold the right to the design . What deal Blakely and Gray had is unknow but the only difference I can find is that there is no name on the flywheel of a blakely . Certain outboards are always of interest to us "inboarders". Nice looking motor. I just bought another one that had an Evinrude tank on it. I was supprised to see it fit. PeterG I pefer to paint my old outboards back to stock colors. I do not run them after restoration. I have plenty of old timers to run that are not as valuable.
