I have decided I want to go electric. This Palmer is running fine, has rebuilt Zenith carburator and rebuilt fresh water heat exchanger, new fuel pump and new impellers, new Bosch coil. Coming out of an Islander 30' sloop. Located in Berkeley, CA. |

Paul,
I am interested as we discussed on the phone, and I know you have been looking to do this change for a few months. Please let me know what Cree says about removing the engine from your boat.

I've exchanged messages with Cree and he said he's gotten a message from you so I'll leave it to you to negotiate the haul out with him and once you've done that let me know and I will drain and disconnect and get the Palmer ready tot remove. |

Paul,
After speaking with you about the engine, I did not hear from you for a couple days, so I called the shipyard directly to check on a price for removal. They did not encourage me about removing the engine from your boat.
If you can work with the shipyard to get the engine out of your boat, I can pay you a couple hundred for the engine, pay the shipyard to put it on a pallet, and pay to have it shipped to my shop.
Let me know if this is possible.

David's Yacht Service has acquired Paul's engine. It was a fresh water cooled engine and is in very good shape for a rebuild. If anyone is interested, please contact me and I can prepare the re-manufacture for you.
