The Buffalo started out steam powered, in commercial service at the mouth of the Mississippi. The name was changed to Buffalo when it was repowered with a Buffalo Gasolene engine around the turn of the century. The engine disappeared, it's now powered by a small Diesel. It was in a warehouse for hurricane Katrina, floated to the roof, fortunately the building remained in tact. I would like to have my 10hp Buffalo or the 8HP Union in it.

Sheesh - T shirts and sandals - up here, we're putting the snow blade on the tractor, bringing wood in for heat, and taking the boats OUT for the duration till next May. . . .
