Richard, I also think it may not think not be a marine engine. It should be a smooth runner with all of the fancy balancing work done on the flywheel. Try posting on https://smokstak.com/ and you may get a quicker answer. Jim |

It looks marine to me since the block seems to be set up for bolting onto wood stringers... In a small boat it wouldn't need a transmission... just start and go... |

Output shaft seems to be small, no signs of a water pump. It's a nice engine. |
