I have just found this engine. Seems to be an early Palmer with no transfer port/cover. Any thoughts?

Brandon needs to have a look inside at the con rod and see what that looks like or has stamped on it. |

* Searching files Finds this early Palmer B With a 4 hole flywheel ! These holes are significantly larger than the engine under discussion ?? * |

I have the earliest known Palmer B November 1899 I think the engine Brandon has is between the first Palmer style and the early B style. The connecting rod may tell. Take a look at the my B in the Sylvester post from a few weeks ago. http://www.oldmarineengine.com/discus/messages/1/272933.html |
