* Looking for ads of the engine above posts and came upon this 1907 ad that has brass cylinder jackets. These photos also taken at Calvert of a Murray & Tregurtha single with brass jackets ! The slot in the flywheel cover to drive the friction mag caught my eye ? * |

amazing architecture. the 4 cyl has an interesting lubrication setup, does it collect into the pan? how does the oil return to the tank, manually or via some kind of pump? how does the brass water jacket stay sealed at the top and bottom? |
