According to the repair shop there is cooling water intrusion into the cilinders of my Volvo Penta MD2B due to leaking nozzle sleeves. The sleeves need to be replaced. Volvo Penta says these parts (part nr. 897170) are obsolete. These sleeves were applied in MD1B, MD2B, MD3B, MD11 and MD17 engines so it should be an interesting aftermarket product.
Does anyone know where I can buy two new nozzle sleeves Volvo Penta 897170. Old stock or an aftermarket alternative is welcome. |

That's great Matt. Distance shouldn't be a problem. In the past I bought boat parts in Seattle. Which were delivered without any problems.
Yesterday I also got an email from the owner of a nearby repair shop. He promised me to check his stock on Monday (tomorrow). If he can deliver the parts (NOS) it�s easier for me. I will contact you by email. |

Unfortunately, the local repair shop owner couldn't help me either. So I will continue doing business by email. |
