2 cylinder, 2 stroke beauty. What is it?

Solid flywheel, flat six bolt heads, interesting manifold. No numbers or letters found except on carb: Holley Dec 22 1914. I found that there is one almost identical to mine at the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton which is only an hour drive for me. The thing I am most curious about is the lack of a bevel gear driven timer which most of the pictures I found have. Mine doesn't have room on the crankshaft for a gear but has some sort of eccentric or cam connected to some linkage. Any idea on this topic?
