Hi All, I have a Blaxland PUP and am looking for plans for a suitable boat to put her in. Preferably tiller steer Carvell or clinker planked. Thanks in advance. Lance Robb Aust |

Why would you want a complicated hull like that? There is a lovely hull on Stan Grayson's book Old Marine Engines that came out of the March 1921 Motor Boating mag. I built one for my Stuart 4 hp and it is on my web www.steam.co.nz. If you look at the links and follow the Traditional BoatYard link, it is there under boats built. She goes well and is a very good seaboat -easily trailered. |

Russell - I looked around your site for the hull with a 4 hp Stuart w/o any luck. I know, sites change over time, ...but I am still very interested to see your Stuart installation. I have a Stuart P5 that needs to float and push some water, so some hull ideas are needed to float this little thumper. You have a very interesting steam site! Thanks for info JW - Admin StanleySteamers.com PS I have a 26 ft launch, pix on the Hicks engine thread |
